Shauna Nash

PRINCIPAL PODIATRIST

BSc (HONS) MRCPOD

I have been practicing podiatry since 2012 qualifying from Salford University, and completing further masters modules in Vascular studies and Independent prescribing.

I choose podiatry as a career pathway as I have always had a keen interest in sports coming from a family involved with both boxing and Judo. I found podiatry was a way of having a profound long term impact on patients' lives.

My main interests in podiatry involve treatment of sports injuries and foot pain. I am a phits expert trained in gait analysis and foot scanning technology. Our aim is to assess and not guess and I believe for this evidence based care and use of technology to do this is the way forward. I love orthotics ( They are not all made hard, bulky and uncomfortable) please feel free to ask any questions if you attend.

I have worked as a Clinical Specialist Podiatrist within the NHS successfully leaving for full time private practice at team lead level. I loved my time within the health service however I was very keen to get back home!

Within this role I treated the smallest verruce to the most challenging gangrene.

I have a 3 year old daughter who takes up most of my spare time but there is nothing else id rather do!
